Solo museum exhibit

Work from my Legacy of Shadows and Rayleigh Shadows series was shown in a solo exhibit at the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art at Colorado State University, in partnership with The Center for Fine Art Photography.

Featured in Denver Art Museum video

I was one of three Colorado-based artists asked by the Denver Art Museum to talk about our own work in relation to the photography exhibit “Modern Women / Modern Vision” currently on view at the museum. While we don’t have images in this exhibit, the important work by female photographers from previous decades has been and continues to be a source of inspiration for all three of us.

Exhibit at Denver Art Museum

My photograph “Moving Picture no. 25” is included in “Curious Visions,” a new exhibit at the Denver Art Museum that’s focused on abstract photography through the decades. Eric Paddock, the museum’s photography curator, initiated the acquisition of my work for the museum’s permanent collection and included it in this exhibit, which also includes work by Alison Rossiter, Marco Breuer, Man Ray, Paul Strand and many others.

Solo exhibit at Foto Relevance

Artwork from my series “Legacy of Shadow,” “Rayleigh Shadows” and “Modalities” was on exhibit during my solo show at Foto Relevance in Houston, Texas from November 20, 2020 through February 12, 2021.

As part of its five-year touring exhibit around the country organized by ExhibitsUSA, the “Once Upon a Playground” exhibit featuring my photographs and collected ephemera made a four-month stop at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery (in Colorado). I was invited by the museum to give an artist talk about how the project took shape.
