Images from my Paper Skies and Moving Pictures series are featured in a three-person exhibit at Filter Space in Chicago until July 6th.
As part of its five-year touring exhibit around the country organized by ExhibitsUSA, the “Once Upon a Playground” exhibit featuring my photographs and collected ephemera made a four-month stop at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery (in Colorado). I was invited by the museum to give an artist talk about how the project.
Three pieces from my Modalities series were included in the “Inspiration / Expression” exhibit organized by the Colorado Photographic Arts Center in conjunction with the Clyfford Still Museum. I was pleased to take part in a panel discussion with the other artists, as well as to hear Dean Sobel, director of the Clyfford Still Museum, discuss my work during the related “One Photograph at a Time” event.
Foto Relevance, the Houston gallery that represents me, produced this informative video about the origins of my work, from my playground series to my latest abstractions.
Images from my three series of constructed abstractions — Paper Skies, Moving Pictures and Modalities — were exhibited at Foto Relevance Gallery in Houston, Texas, from January 11 through February 15, 2019.
From July 1, 2017 through January 11, 2018, the San Diego Museum of Art in California will exhibit 24 of my photographs from the series "Paper Skies" and "Once Upon a Playground." The exhibit is organized by Ariel Plotek, the museum's curator of modern and contemporary art. I will give an artist talk at the museum on July 8. My solo show at Goodwin Fine Art in Denver runs from March 2 through April 15.
Two images from my Paper Skies series were included in the Art of the State 2016 exhibition at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. Jurors were Gwen Chanzit (modern art curator, Denver Art Museum), Michael Chavez (Public Art Program Manager, city of Denver) and Collin Parson, curator at the Arvada Center.Read More
